Treadmill becoming tiresome? Stationary bike got
you feeling… stationary? Discover an adrenaline-pumping, fully 3D way to get moving at Sky Zone, an indoor trampoline park opening today in
Mississauga, Ont.
It marks the Canadian
debut for the company, which already has various U.S. locations and is touted as the creator of the world’s
first all-trampoline, walled playing court.
“As a mom myself, I’m
always looking for ways to get my kids off the couch and doing something active and healthy,” said
Sky Zone owner Caroline Irving in a press release.
“What I love about Sky Zone is that it’s so much fun, kids don’t even
realize how much exercise they’re getting! Sky Zone’s unique combination of affordable fun and fitness has
something for people all ages.”
The park offers a range of
high-flying, low-impact activities for both individuals and groups. The Open Jump has participants literally
bouncing off the walls, popping up into the air and springing across the court for sessions of 30, 60, 90 or
120 minutes. 3D Dodgeball is a vertical take on a Phys. Ed. classic. Meanwhile, SkyRobics fitness classes
combine advanced calisthenics, core exercises and strength-building aerobics for an intense yet
easy-on-your-joints workout.
